Aventurine: "Stone of Heaven" A Green gemstone. Used for physical, mental and emotional healing. Enhances intelligence, brings luck in love, and adventures. Blue Lace Agate: Calms emotions & the mind. Peace and Happiness. Aides in total attunement of the senses Bloodstone: Birthstone for March. Bloodstone was carried by ancient warriors in order to stop bleeding by placing the stone on the wound. Carnelian: Associated with courage - it was believed it could improve one's outlook and expell fears. Citrine: Strengthens the will. Aids one in feeling confident and promotes mental clarity. Psychic and physical digestion and assimilation. Red Garnet: Strengthens, purifies, vitalizes and regenerates bodily systems, especially the bloodstream. Love, compassion. Enhances imagination. Hematite: Hematite comes from the Greek word, haimatites, meaning "bloodlike." Associated with psychic awareness and astral travel. Can be worn as an adornment for continual healing. Lapis Lazuli: A favorite stone of the Egyptians, it was said to aid in childbirth. It has also been associated with altered states of conciousness. Helps to strengthen psychic awareness, and may be used to attract spiritual love. |
Moonstone: Found in a variety of colors based upon it's mineral make-up. Use for goddess work - to invoke Maiden/Mother/Crone. Obsidian: This is a protectective stone. Inner mysteries of the goddess. Scrying Opal: Birthstone for October, said to be unlucky to anyone who wears it when their birthday is not in october. Wear to bring out inner beauty. Quartz is found in many different forms and colors. You might consider it the "all-purpose" stone, since it seems to have at least one form or another related to each general area of practice.
Tiger's Eye: Ancioent people considered this gem a stron talisman. Use for promoting wealth and money. Sooth emotional turmoil, optimism. Turquoise: Protection against traumatic injuries. Connector of Earth and Sky, increases wisdom, emotional balance. |
