| Title of Book | Author of the Book | Book Rating 1-10 | What I like About This Book |
| Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft | Raymond Buckland | 9 | This book is a must have! It gives a great introduction to Wicca, giving history and more... Maybe I'm biased, but this was the first book I got on the subject, and it was highly recommended. The only criticism I have of this book is that it focuses mainly on coven work, although it does give some ideas for solitary rituals. |
| Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner | Scott Cunningham | 10++ | Another must have! This is an excellent book for the beginner looking to find out more about the Wiccan religion, it's practices, etc.. I highly recommend this book to get started, especially for those younger people who are just starting to learn and are practicing as Solitaries. |
| Celtic Magic and Northern Magic Note: These are two different books. | D.J. Conway | 7-8 | Comments coming soon! |
| Magical Herbalism | Scott Cunningham | 10 | An absolute must as an introduction to herbalsim, essential oils, etc.. Includes a collection of herb descriptions of those herbs commonly used in magic. Lays down a solid foundation for further learning about herbalism. |
| The Complete Book of Incense, Oils & Brews | Scott Cunningham | 10 | Now as a matter of principle I steer away from almost any book that has the words Complete Book of...in the title, but since this was a Scott Cunningham book I made an exception, and am I glad that I did. This book covers over ten seperate sections on magical perfumery. This book is the perfect book to follow his book Magical Herbalism. |
