- Handfasting - a form of wedding lasting for a year and a day.
- Magic - the movement of natural energies to create needed change. The process of rousing or building the energy within all things, giving it purpose, and releasing it.
- Pagan - from the latin paganus or country dweller; used as a term to describe followers of polytheistic religions.
- Pentacle - an object on which a five-pointed star (Pentagram) is engraved, painted, etc..; represents the element of Earth.
- Polarity - the concept of equal, opposite energies; i.e. Goddess/God, Yin/Yang; the Universal Balance.
- Ritual - ceremony; a specific form of movement, manipulation of objects or inner processes to produce desired effects.
- Sabbat - a Wiccan festival such as Imbolg, Samhain, or Yule.
- Scrying - a form of divination; gazing at or into an object to become aware of possible events in the future, etc..
- Spell - a magical ritual.
- Talisman - an object ritually charged with power to attract a specific force/energy to it's bearer.
- Widdershins - counterclockwise; for dispersing negative magical energies or disease.
